In an effort to increase awareness of the Hello Kitty nail polish line, OPI partnered with The Social Standard & their top Snapchat nail artists. With a total of 3 influencers, OPI’s Hello Kitty line reached over 1.95 million impressions. This was achieved through 3 diverse snapchat stories - one focused on the magic powers of OPI at CES, another gave the first-ever nail art tutorial on Snapchat and the final story took place at an NYC event with the OPI/HelloKitty team.  During this event, the influencer hosted content on her own channel as well as the OPI snapchat account - takeovers are a great way to bring more followers to your brand’s account! In addition to these snap stories, 6 Instagram posts brought in an additional 442,000+ impressions.

RESULTS

What makes an “influencer” influential is that their audience is loyal and trusts their opinion. Engagement is a crucial factor for building a loyal & trusting audience, and these influencers nailed it.

Each influencer was a true brand advocate, so they willingly went above and beyond. They chose to upload twice as many snaps - or a whole additional story - and post to Instagram when no posts were required. SNAP STORIES

Sallia, known for her drawings, put together a creative story focused around a magic box full of nail polish. She interacted with others and *poofed* polish onto their nails. The magic polish was a fun way to integrate OPI into her story organically.

CyreneQ Snapchatted on site at the Hello Kitty event in NYC where she interacted with fans and promoted the event.

Nail-art guru Kelli showed off several colors from the line, including a Hello Kitty themed manicure. She asked her audience to “screenshot for a tutorial” which received hundreds of screenshots from her engaged audience.

OPI - SNAPCHAT TAKEOVER

Cyrene utilized her own Snap story to send her audience to the OPI Snapchat account. She interviewed girls on the street, interacted with famous Disney star Peyton List, and colored the snaps with her famous drawings. This takeover drove a tremendous amount of traffic to OPI’s social media + the event.
